We are a licensed contractor with the state of New Jersey, license # 0450081207. We are bonded in accordance with New Jersey state contractor requirements. Our insurance includes General Liability and Worker's Compensation policies. We hire our own fully trained staff of full-time painters.

No, we do not provide estimates over the phone or email. GMS Painting Services provides free in person estimates. We evaluate and assess the full scope of the work and provide you with an accurate written estimate.

Your house should be painted depending on the surface type, quality of paint, and signs of wear (ex: color fading, peeling paint). For example, interior walls  in your home need to be repainted more frequently than others due to daily wear and tear. 

We use top quality paints from most major brands like Sherwin Williams and Benjamin Moore. Note that brand paint can be influenced by many factors including customer preference and the type of project. 

We recommend two coats of paint for every type of project. This will provide full coverage, durability, and a long-lasting paint job.

Yes, we paint kitchen and bathroom cabinets with a spray-painting technique.

Power washing, or pressure washing, is the application of a high pressure water spray to surfaces that need cleaned.  It is used on concrete, wooden decks, exterior of house and many more places.

Power washer can handle, homes, decks,  concrete, sidewalks and much more. If it’s dirty, we can wash it!

For the majority of surfaces, an annual  power washing should suffice. It does depend on the materials used to  create/build the surface as well as the current condition of the surface (for example, pollen, mold, algae build up), this all can change and increase the frequency of power washings. 

Look for signs for any contaminants or growths building up on your home’s interior and exterior. If you spot mold, mildew, pollen or algae accumulation, it's time to power wash! When it comes to picking a time of the year, keep in mind that your house needs time to dry. Your house is going to need at least 24 hours  to fully dry up.
